Here we are. 2021. Pearce and I made some big life decisions over the past few months and decided to deeply pursue our dreams of starting our own farm. We have leased two different plots of land north of the Twin Cities where we will be stewarding the soil and water. We plan on working diligently to raise nutrient-dense, chemical-free food to nourish ourselves and our community. Raising food in a holistic, regenerative manner is the only life path we find fulfilling. Everything about farming fuels our desire to make a positive impact on the earth and the people who reside on it. We love working outside, with soil streaked faces, to bring food to the table and restore all the interconnected systems of our world.
We are writing to you, our beloved family and friends in the Twin Cities, because as first-year farmers we need YOU to help us build the community of eaters we need to make our farming endeavor successful. We are starting our enterprise from the ground up (literally) and we are calling upon our community to join us for this first year.
We have decided that we will have the capacity to run a 30 member Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and attend two farmers markets in the Twin Cities. We are really excited about our CSA program and we would be thrilled if you decided to join. A CSA program is where community members pay upfront for a weekly box of vegetables from a farm through the summer. Our CSA program will run for 16 weeks beginning on Sunday, June 20th. Below is all the information about our CSA and Market Bucks offerings:

Small Veggie Share: $480 ($30 per week) for 16 weeks. This share includes 6-8 different varieties of vegetables. Good for smaller households, or people who eat less veggies per week.

Large CSA Veggie Share: $640 ($40 per week) for 16 weeks. This share includes 8-10 different varieties of vegetables. Good for people who LOVE veggies.
Our CSA shares will be delivered weekly beginning on Sunday, June 20th to two locations. We are still working to secure the exact pickup spots, but one will be in Lauderdale, and the other will be in Bloomington. We will put the pickup location addresses on our website once we secure the places. Farmers Markets will be announced on our social media pages and website as we’re accepted.

Market Bucks: Pay $200, $300, or $400 upfront for the full farmers market season and receive a 10% bonus in Market Bucks towards our stand. A good fit for households who prefer to shop at the farmers market. Come as you please. Example: Pay $300 at the beginning of the season and receive $330 of Market Bucks to use for the rest of the year.
We are launching our CSA for sign-ups on February 15th! Give me or Pearce a call if you want to chat about our farm dreams or CSA program. Much much love!
